Spanish Language Access

Helping our Spanish language community gain access to care in their own language is essential. Relying on children or family members to translate sensitive information can be discouraging. Everyone in our community needs access to the best care from a provider they can trust and understand.

Medical Interpreting

Poor quality of care is a consequence of the lack of medical interpreting services offered at medical establishments. Many individuals are discouraged from seeking care due to the many language barriers. This is acutely true within the Central Valley for those seeking access to medical care, yet are apart of the Spanish Language Community and cannot speak enough English to understand their treatment options. HealthForce is here to tackle this issue by connecting the healthcare industry with the education industry in order to improve the interpreting education.

Salud Certified ™

When it comes to seeking care, every patient should know that there are interpreting services offered at any medical establishment. All services should align with community demographics by providing information in different languages and having staff certified as medical interpreters. HealthForce will be providing Salud Certification in 2024. The aim of being Salud Certified™ is to allow the community to know just by those two words that there are interpreting services and resources at the medical establishment to help provide quality of care. HealthForce will be a key resource to may medical establishments by offering services such as translating marketing pieces, making sure to conduct community access reports to inform staff of the different cultures to be aware of in the community and much more.
